MAREAS
GRADES 4-6
In our fourth through sixth grade program, students share a classroom and teachers, creating a collaborative and supportive learning environment. Their schedule is designed to engage them with a variety of projects, artistic activities, and physical exercises that enhance their academic journey while keeping them connected to the world around them. This carefully structured combination of grades ensures that each student's individual needs are met, fostering both academic and personal growth.
The program places a strong emphasis on teamwork and cooperation, encouraging students to work together on group projects and assignments. The curriculum covers essential subjects such as Math, Science, English and Spanish Language Arts, Social Studies in both languages, as well as Health, Art, and Physical Education. This well-rounded approach nurtures students' intellectual, creative, and physical development.
For students who are not yet fully fluent in one or both languages, specialized English as a Second Language (ESL) and Spanish as a Second Language (SSL) classes are provided. These courses offer tailored instruction to help students reach fluency, ensuring that they can thrive in both their language arts studies and broader academic endeavors.
